Materials Needed

  • Gummy bears
  • Cornflour
  • Icing sugar
  • Three microwave-safe glass bowls
  • Tablespoon
Ingredients and tools are laid out on a light wooden table, seemingly for a gummy bear-related activity. A white bear-shaped dish holds a small pile of colorful gummy bears. Above the dish are an empty clear glass, presumably for water, and two smaller clear containers filled with a white substance, likely sugar or a similar ingredient. A small black measuring spoon lies to the left of the bear dish. The arrangement suggests a candy-making or science experiment involving gummy bears.

Step-by-step tutorial

Step 1

First, sort the gummy bears by colour and place them in separate microwave-safe glass bowls.

Three clear glass bowls are arranged on a light wood-grained surface. Each bowl contains a small handful of gummy bears. The gummy bears are grouped by color, with yellow bears in the left bowl, orange bears in the middle bowl, and red bears in the right bowl. This image likely depicts a sorting activity or the ingredients for a recipe or experiment involving gummy bears.
Step 2

Place the sorted gummy bears in the microwave and heat for 15 seconds until melted.

A hand holds a clear glass bowl of orange gummy bears in the foreground, just inside the open door of a microwave oven. Two other glass bowls, containing yellow and red gummy bears, are visible further inside the microwave on the rotating glass plate. The microwave interior is black with a textured pattern. This image likely depicts a moment in an experiment or activity involving heating gummy bears in a microwave.
Step 3

Place the melted gummy bear mixture on the table and add 3 tablespoons of cornflour and 2 tablespoons of icing sugar to each portion.

A hand holds a black measuring spoon filled with white powder, poised above a clear glass bowl. The bowl contains a yellow liquid and some of the white powder has already been added. The bowl sits on a light wood-grained surface. This image likely depicts someone adding a powdered ingredient, possibly cornstarch or flour, to a liquid, possibly oil or melted butter, as part of a recipe.
Step 4

Mix thoroughly with your hands or spoon. If it's too sticky, add another tablespoon of icing sugar.

A clear glass bowl, placed on a light wood-grained table, contains a mass of light pink, dough-like or putty-like material. The material appears to be slightly folded and textured. A few specks of white powder are visible in the bottom of the bowl and on the table near the bowl, possibly indicating a dry ingredient used in the mixture. This image likely depicts homemade playdough, slime, or a similar substance.
Step 5

Now knead your edible slime! Have fun playing with it, then enjoy the tasty treat!

A pair of hands wearing clear plastic gloves manipulates a mass of light pink slime on a wooden surface. The slime is stretched, pulled, and twisted, demonstrating its elasticity and texture. The video focuses on the tactile interaction with the slime.
