This is an educational and fun number game that helps children recognise numbers and practice matching quantities with objects. It can be made using common household materials.
Use scissors to cut out the dice template along the edges.
Take the cut dice template and fold along the black lines as shown.
Apply double-sided tape to the white trapezoid sections, then stick the template together to form a cube. Your number dice is complete.
Place the paper cup upside down and draw your favourite animal on it using marker pens.
Fold card paper in half, draw an ear shape with pencil, then cut along the lines to create two symmetrical ears.
Colour both ears with marker pens.
Fold back the bottom 0.5cm of both ears.
Apply double-sided tape to the folded sections and attach the ears to the cup bottom as shown.
Draw a 2.5cm guide line below the animal's mouth on the cup. Carefully cut along this line using the craft knife.
Make a small hole 5cm up from the bottom on one side of the cup. Make another hole directly opposite, ensuring both holes are level.
Cut the wooden stick to 11cm length.
Cut out the carrot template along the black outline.
Use double-sided tape to join the two carrot template pieces together.
Thread the wooden stick through both holes in the cup, then use double-sided tape to attach one end of the carrot template to the middle of the stick.
Thread the other end of the carrot template through the cut opening in the front of the cup.
Roll the dice and feed the rabbit carrots according to the number shown!
