An overhead flatlay shot displays various ingredients and tools laid out on a light wood-grained surface, seemingly for a craft or science project. Items include clear glass bowls and cups containing water and a white substance, a set of black measuring spoons, small bottles of blue and yellow coloring, a glue stick, and small containers of glitter or colored powder. The arrangement suggests preparation for a specific activity.

Step-by-step tutorial

Step 1

Mix 1 cup of clear PVA glue with 1/4 cup water in a bowl until well combined.

A hand pours a clear, viscous liquid from a black measuring cup into a clear glass bowl. The liquid flows in a steady stream from the cup to the bowl, which is placed on a light wooden surface. The scene suggests a step in a recipe or experiment where a precise amount of liquid is being added.
Step 2

Add food colouring and glitter according to your preference.

A clear glass bowl sits on a light wooden surface, containing a mixture of water, red glitter, and a small drop of green and yellow coloring. The glitter is dispersed throughout the water, while the coloring remains concentrated in a small area. This setup suggests an experiment or craft activity involving color mixing or glitter effects.
Step 3

Add 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda.

A hand holds a small, black measuring spoon containing a white powder above a clear glass bowl. The bowl, resting on a light wood surface, contains a yellowish liquid mixed with red glitter. The hand appears to be in the process of adding the white powder to the bowl's contents. This image likely depicts a step in a science experiment or the creation of a homemade slime or similar substance.
Step 4

Next, add 1 tablespoon of saturated salt water and mix well. You'll notice the slime starting to thicken and pull away from the sides of the bowl. If your slime still feels too sticky, you might need to add a few more drops of saturated salt water.

A hand uses a small black measuring spoon to stir a mixture in a clear glass bowl. The mixture is a viscous, yellowish-green liquid with red glitter dispersed throughout. The bowl sits on a light wood-grained surface. The action suggests the combining of ingredients or the thickening of a substance, likely for a craft or science project.
Step 5

Now you can start playing with your slime! Add some foam balls or your favourite decorative items to enhance the texture!

Two hands manipulate a bright, lime-green slime. The slime is translucent and filled with small, sparkly red and green glitter or confetti. The hands stretch and pull the slime, demonstrating its viscous and stretchy texture. In the background, there are Christmas-themed decorations, including small wrapped presents, a miniature Christmas tree made of stacked boxes, and a Santa Claus hat. The video showcases the playful qualities of festive, glittery slime against a Christmas backdrop.
