Have you ever thought about creating unique artistic decorations using just yarn and PVA glue? Make creative letter decorations using these everyday materials to instantly add personality and warmth to your room! Whether it's a child's name, holiday message, or a special phrase, you can bring it to life with this simple DIY craft. Let's get started!
Using a pencil, write your chosen letters on the greaseproof paper. As shown, make the letters quite wide.
Pour PVA glue into the bowl until it's half full.
Use scissors to cut the yarn into different lengths.
Place the cut yarn into the bowl with PVA glue, ensuring the yarn pieces are thoroughly coated.
Now take out the greaseproof paper with your written letters and arrange the glue-coated yarn along the letter outlines. You can combine different coloured yarn to create your letters.
After the PVA glue has completely dried, carefully peel the letters off the paper.
Cut a longer piece of yarn and fold it back and forth two to three times. Then glue your dried letters onto it.
Try combining different letters to spell out your name! Create your very own personalised letter string.
