What’s an Explore Box?

Our Explore range of boxes allow children aged 9-12 to independently explore a range of STEAM topics through hands-on creation and experimentation. Subscribe and Tinkerer will deliver a different Explore box to your door every month. Our Explore boxes include high quality materials and creative projects to guide children on an interactive journey. They will explore the magic of STEAM, nurturing their creativity, logical deduction skills and creative confidence.

What topics are included in your Explore subscription?

Our Explore boxes centre around a different STEAM topic each month. All boxes include content designed to allow children to learn and experiment through interactive discovery. In our Explore range, we focus on complex engineering and scientific experiments. Through fun and engaging projects, children discover the fundamentals behind all our boxes. Examples of topics covered include: Trebuchet, Laser Light Show, Pinhole Camera, Repeating Crossbow, and many more.

What is Tinkerer’s educational philosophy?

When will I receive my subscription boxes?

After placing your order, the first subscription box will be sent out within 3 working days. Subsequent boxes are sent out between the 15th and 25th of each month, and you can expect to receive your box in the second half of each month. If you have not received your box by the end of the month, please contact customer care for assistance. The starting month of your subscription depends on the date the first box is shipped. For example, if you purchase a subscription on September 30th and the first box is shipped on October 3rd, your subscription will be considered to start in October, and the second box will be sent in November.

When will I receive my single box or bundle order?

After placing your order, we will ship it out within 5 working days. Actual delivery times will depend on the delivery method chosen and the delivery location. Please see our shipping page for more information.

What payment options does Tinkerer accept?

We accept payment by all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UnionPay. If you require other payment methods, please contact customer support.

Is there a friend referral program?

Yes, there is! When you refer a friend and they make a purchase on our website, they will receive a discount of HKD$50 on their purchase, and you will receive HKD$50 worth of Tinkercoins. Tinkercoins can be used for any purchase on our website, and they will be automatically deducted from your order total before other payment formats are taken.

How can I refer a friend?

After logging into your account, go to the Referral tab, and you will find your unique referral link, which you can share with your friends.
